Well, I have read several stories where a human was turned into some animal or anthro-morphic being and performed experiments on, but that doesn't mean it not good! Consider that in the history of written literature is a lengthy one, but just because there are stories LIKE it doesn't mean that yours will lack the originality you want! It's all about your voice, and the small details and twists you put in it. Have faith! I know you'll do an amazing job at it.

Thank you much. I know I probably sound over-tentative, but I wanted to kinda be sure.

And I'm feeling alot more confident, because as the idea has fleshed itself out more completely, I have totally realized that although *parts* of the idea are going to be the same as other books / series, the entire idea is nothing like I've ever read before.

I think alot of people will get that idea after the first few chapters. And depending on my writing speed, Book 2 will be a jaw dropper. =P
